Safety
Event organisers are required to employ adequate security personnel to ensure the safety and security of all patrons, competitors, the IPL’s property and to ensure that patrons observe all IPL’s rules and regulations.
The security plan must be approved by IPL and should be presented to IPL no later than 7 working days prior to the event start date.
The security plan must ensure that:
1. Patrons cannot enter the facility with any weapons or incendiary devices
2. All entrances/exits are kept clear
3. No sitting or congregation in aisles or walkways
4. The protection of IPL’s property
5. General crowd control measures are in place
6. Only authorised vendors are allowed entry and only to the designated areas
7. No Smoking regulations are observed
NB: Safety regulations require that all exits be manned during an event whether or not that exit is used as an entry point. Arrangements with the Jamaica Constabulary Force will be the responsibility of the event organizer.
