IPL is led by an expert board of directors and management team, who are passionate about the management and maintenance of IPL’s facilities. Over the years IPL’s facilities has been used to host major events. These include ‘One Love Peace’ and ‘The Wonder Dream’ both held at the National Stadium in 1978 and 1975 respectively. Buju Banton’s ‘Long Walk to Freedom’, named after Nelson Mandela’s ‘Long Walk to Freedom’, was held in the National Stadium following his release from prison. History making moments such as the Dr. The Honorable Ambassador Usain Bolt’s final race and the Reggae Boyz qualifying for the World Cup for the first time, also took place at the National Stadium.
